Brutal Cleave

Alpha-2 Brutal Cleave Fighter skill demonstration.

It's not one of your more spectacular AoEs, but it's your primary AoE resource generator, so you're going to be using this a lot to build your momentum. And you also weave this a lot between your weapon combos because your weapon attack finishers will reset seconds off of this cooldown. So, if you're going back and forth between cleaves and weapon attacks, you get to do more of them and have more uptime. – Tradd Thompson

• Mana: 20.
• Cooldown: 18s.
• Range: Frontal.

Base skill

Perform a wide sweeping attack, dealing damage to all enemies in front of you. This ability shares a cooldown with Overpower, and hitting an enemy with a weapon combo finisher reduces its cooldown by 8 seconds. +10-20 Combat Momentum (based on number of targets hit)

Greater Brutality upgrade

Overpower and Brutal Cleave apply 10 Wound stacks to enemies hit.
