Armor smithing stations are a type of crafting station in smithy service buildings.[1]
- Armor smithing stations can be specialized through the smithy building tech tree.[2]
Smithies
Smithies (also called Forges and Blacksmiths) are constructed service buildings in Ashes of Creation.[4][5]
- Smithies allow placement of armor smithing and weapon smithing crafting stations.[1]

Smithy tech tree
Smithy service buildings have a tech tree that allows mayors to upgrade and specialize the crafting done at armor smithing and weapon smithing stations.[2]
- Service building expansions unlock tech tree pathways for higher tier artisan proficiencies.[6][7][8]
- Service building expansions also unlock specialized crafting pathways. For example: from generalized Blacksmithing to Armor smithing, then finally toward specialization in Plate armor.[2][9][10]
