Pets are available in game from level 1.[2] Some pets will be levelable and will have gear available to them.[3]

There are two types of pets in Ashes of Creation.[4]

Familiers de combat may be tamed from certain creatures in the world.[5]
Cosmetic pets
Cosmetic pets were available for purchase during the Kickstarter and Summer crowdfunding campaigns, at PAX West 2017, and are currently available in Packs de précommande on the cosmetic store.
