In Ashes of Creation basic mounts are obtained through an early quest that is available to all players in starting areas.

Runic steed

Runic steed was a Kickstarter mount reward for backing at the Settler level or higher.

The Runic steed mount has emissive textures on its body that glow; along with particle effects (FX) that come from it's mane and tail.

• The white Runic steed has an ability that the rider can use to make the runes on the horse's skin glow bright colors while it runs.

Obsidian stallion

Obsidian stallion was a Kickstarter mount reward for backing at the Pioneer level or higher.

The Obsidian stallion is covered in emissive runes that glow with power. While this mount runs, its hooves emit fire effect (FX) on the ground around it.

Spectral mare

Spectral mare was a Kickstarter mount reward for backing at the Founder level or higher.

The Spectral mare is a ghostly beauty. The textures on this mount have a degree of transparency; and a mist effect (FX) flows from the creature into the wind.

Moonstrider mule

Moonstrider mule was a Kickstarter mount reward for backing at the Warrior of old level or higher.

The Moonstrider mule, is a hybrid mule that acts as a slower mount though also allows for the transit of goods (on a much smaller scale than the caravan system). This little guy has some cool saddle bag animations on his sides that show the contents moving around during movement.

Dawnbreaker

Dawnbreaker was a Kickstarter gliding mount reward for backing at the Braver of worlds level or higher.

• The Dawnbreaker has the ability to glide through the air, and has a shimmering emissive that glows on its wings in many colors. It stands larger than other mounts of its type. The Dawnbreaker also emits a dust particle effect (FX) that comes from its wings on takeoff and landing.

• The Dawnbreaker mount's color can be set by the player.

Dawnbreaker mount changes colors based on the player's "mood".

Tidesnapper

Tidesnapper is an aquatic mount that has the ability to glide through the water.

• Tidesnapper was a Kickstarter reward for passing 9,500 backers goal.

Dragons

Des Dragons (parfois appelés Wyrmlings) peuvent être utilisés comme mountures, d'autres seront des PNJs : certains seront des bosses ou des monstres que les joueurs pourront combattre.

• Les montures Dragons sont classées dans les montures royales (niveau 3) qui sont capables de vol véritable lorsque utilisées par les Maires de nœuds de métropole ou les Rois et Reines de châteux de guilde.
  • Les montures royales sont 3 ou 4 fois plus grandes que les montures glissantes (montures de niveau 2).
  • Certaines apparences de monture de niveau 2 peuvent être améliorées en apparences de niveau 3 pour s'adapter à la différence de taille.

• Les œufs de dragon peuvent être relâchés par des bosses de monde légendaires. Ceux-ci seront des montures temporaires qui existeront pour une durée limitée.

Nous le réservons à un très très petit nombre de personnes par serveur, ce qui va également le rendre beaucoup plus significatif lorsque ces dragons volants entrent en jeu pour certains événements. – Steven Sharif
