Cosmétiques provide a wide array of customization in Ashes of Creation.[1]

Obtaining cosmetics

Some Cosmétiques can be obtained in-game:[2]

  • Dyes.
  • Costumes.
  • Seasonal cosmetics.
  • Achievements may unlock cosmetics.

Not all cosmetics will be obtainable through in-game means.[2]

Cosmetic items

Cosmetic items allow players to customize their character in-game.[3]

  • Eye color.
  • Skin color.
  • Hair color.
  • Hairstyles.
  • Tattoos.
  • Scars.

Cosmetic items that produce in-game cosmetic effects will also be available.[4]

Emoji

Emoji adds additional flare either for chat or character representation (social animations).[5][6][3]

Apparences

Providing these limited options that collectors out there like when it comes to achieving and/or purchasing cosmetics. It means something I think when players make that decision to purchase or they go through the rigorous portion of achieving those things in game that it is not just everywhere around them and becomes meaningless at that point.[9]Steven Sharif

Accessories/armor, Bâtiments, Caravanes, Montures, Pets, and Navires sold in the cosmetic store are skins.[10][11][12]

Owning cosmetics does not guarantee the acquisition of the item the cosmetic can be used on. Players must still achieve the corresponding item/building.[14]Steven Sharif
